About the Journal

Energy Conversions and Managements is an international, peer-reviewed open-access journal that aims to advance the science, engineering, and policy aspects of sustainable energy systems. The journal focuses on the transformation, integration, utilization, and management of energy in its various forms to improve efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and accelerate the transition toward decarbonized systems.

We seek original research, review articles, case studies, and short communications in the following areas:

  • Energy Conversion Technologies
Thermodynamic, mechanical, chemical, and electrochemical processes for transforming energy from one form to another.

  • Renewable Energy Systems
Solar, wind, biomass, geothermal, hydro, and hybrid technologies, including storage and grid integration.

  • Energy Efficiency and Conservation
Innovations in energy-saving practices, smart grids, and industrial, building, and transportation efficiency.

  • Sustainable Fuels and Carbon Management
Development of biofuels, e-fuels, hydrogen, CCUS (Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage), and DAC (Direct Air Capture) technologies.

  • Advanced Energy Materials and Devices
Materials for energy storage, catalysis, conversion devices (e.g., fuel cells, batteries, thermoelectrics), and thermal systems.

  • Energy Policy, Economics, and Life Cycle Assessment
Techno-economic analyses, policy implications, and environmental assessments of energy systems and technologies.

  • Emerging Technologies and Cross-Disciplinary Innovations
AI in energy, energy-water nexus, integrated systems, and novel designs promoting resilience and sustainability.

The journal welcomes submissions from academic, industrial, and policy-oriented researchers that contribute to a deeper understanding and practical advancement of sustainable energy practices across all sectors.
